As above i find it strange that the car was fine when it left ECC, yet 2 weeks after its detting? If the det was that bad it would have went pretty damn soon after you left. Reason i ask about the fuel system is it could be a regulator problem. Dodgy regulator wont be able to supply enough fuel when its in demand most and tail off higher up the rev range. No fuel or bad fuel will result in higher knock reading.
im not sure id have to ring the new tuner to ask him exacly, well it may well have bein deting in higher gears he was doing 3rd gear pulls on the dyno imo thats not enough load on the engine! the car was drove back from ecc at pretty much 60kph the whole way due to rain and the roads being badly flooded in certain parts and id to take back roads to try get home! as i said above i dont drive the car every day. the fuel system is spot on and i always use the same petrol station and no problems there
