Cant you source a 4EFTE engine?
Unfortunately no, soon I'm putting a Solex 40 double carburettor on the car and looking for a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold for my 2E engine, and I also wanted to do a restore engine and install forged pistons and connecting rods

Chances are very slim of finding them but TRD produced performance versions for the 2E back in the day.

Theres a close up but those figures are probably for the TRD items.

Stock engine values could differ. You would generally stick to the manufacturers figures.

I don't seem to have the engine manual for a 2E in the collection just yet but I'll have a dig.

Yes you can use the carbs if you wish. I personally wont.
You will need 2E distributor to handle the timing if you use the carbs.

To be honest you will not need forged pistons and rods if you have that low power.
