I had a similar issue on my old GT, and it turned out to be the knock sensor. The cable had rubbed against something and caused the car to go in to limp mode with no boost and eml on. As said above, run the diognostic test to be certain.

I had a similar issue on my old GT, and it turned out to be the knock sensor. The cable had rubbed against something and caused the car to go in to limp mode with no boost and eml on. As said above, run the diognostic test to be certain.

No fault code, just flashing straight, where’s the knock sensor on the car

Knock sensor is on the back of the engine underneath the inlet manifold. It's just a single wire on the connector block, check for any damage to the cable or the pin in the connector the pin can also get pretty filthy and can prevent good contact so giving it a clean wont hurt.

You should definitely be getting a code if you are getting an EML activation, make sure you are bridging the correct terminals and you are getting good contact.
