trackdays and headlights

trackdays have things listed as requirements for your car to ba allowed on track.

i was wondering to what extent you need to go to when it says headlights need taping up?

also does this mean foglights should be taped up as well?

a cross "X" on each light is the norm fella

I have never been out no a track that have made you tape the light they just advise it encase you crash as it will make less mess lol

The only really thing you must stick to are head to toe covered, helmet, windows up at all times and the big one passing the DB test if there is one

There isn't a requirement at most places to tape up lights, but as Elaine said, it helps prevent a lot off mess if you do run out of skill. It also looks rather funky

its required @ TRAX according to the website and thought an X would be enough but wasnt sure!
(off to B&Q for some red tape then!)

dB test wont be a prob for me still got cat in and resinator if needed but i doubt it!
as for covered am all set there and my shinny headgear is ready to go!

just need to kick the family out and the kids child seats when get there! lol

Its always good to include a roll of rape-tape on your list of things to take with you on a trackday.

Its also useful to bodge stuff back together when things get broken..
