As stated on UKSC, i am truly saddened by this news.

i would like to state tho, that whoever wrote the piece on the TGTT portal/home page, i found that truly moving. i've read all the respects on UKSC and TGTT, but what you guys have written on your portal page is genuinely beautiful and I have no doubts that Dave would appreciate it very much. The honest sentiment and heartfelt sadness and sheer respect that you have illustrated in that piece is very moving and very fitting.

For everything Dave, I thank you, and we will all miss you.

Phil.

Same here, I've also known him ever since toyotagtturbo.com was started by Macker.
He was one of the first members like Tomaddo, Domo, Jay etc.
I always liked his purple-ish starlet hey owned back then.

RIP man

cheers Phil, was written by me but I would hazard a guess that it sums up how a lot of us are feeling about this tragic event. Seems really strange to me that he wont be on the site any more.

I only just heard that this happened. This is such a loss to the starlet community and the whole car enthusiast scene as a whole. He was a top bloke and so very helpful. My sympathies go out to his family, loved ones and all of his friends which I am sure there are many. R.I.P. Dave

Not been on this site for a while and shocked to get the news. I remember in the early days I was delighted to come across the first owners club site and then even more pleased to find Dave had some great knowledge and shared it for free. I was a bit worried about getting parts for the starbo - back when they were much rarer - and it was reassuring that Dave was at the end of a PM /email/phone to come to the rescue. Was always a pleasure to deal with and had top sense of humour.

R.I.P. Dave

Can I ask what happened ?

Just got the email from TGTT saying that Dave had passed, gutted. He helped me out many years ago with tuning and getting parts for my old starlets, very helpful man.
Will be missed
