sad to hear, RIP dave,

just want to revert to the article on the front page of the website, it is worded exceptionally well,

i myself have had many dealings with dave, most very good and 1 or 2 very bad, but even after me and dave had our fall out, the next time we see each other it was all under the bridge and we had some very good discusions since and dave surprisingly was still willing to help me on a few occasions afterwards,

it takes a big man to do that after what happened between me and dave, so massive respect to him and RIP dave.

OMG, can't believe this.. i was last in ownership of a Starlet GT just over 5yrs ago, i still can clearly remember the layout of the old site, migh gosh it has changed!.. i got an email sent in regards to this like most of you did and i gotta say i am just as shocked as the rest of you chaps on here. Sincere condolences to his family!.

Dave was only one of the members at the time that actually helped me locate a CV joint back then, yes hard believe cos they are so easily available now, but back then it was gold dust!.. Extremely helpful bloke from what my memory tells me.

Like many, I have received a very saddening email from TGTT and jumped on here straight away to offer my condolences.
I had my Starlet back in 2005 and there were few people around that were able to offer parts and advice as well as Dave did - his legacy lives on in the posts he made on this forum and in the cars he helped build!

I'm not a regular user of TGTT anymore, but when I read this, I naturally shed a tear.

Dave was a legend, and a great enthusiast, and friendly to talk to - he will be missed by thousands

Haven't been on this forum for a while but this is indeed a tragedy. RIP to a true friend to us all and someone I learnt a lot from when I had my Starlet.

Had plenty of dealings with Dave, definitely the best and most genuine trader I've used.

Thoughs are with Darren and his family, I true loss to all things EP.
