Looking good:)

apparently you should never mount an oil cooler with the fittings at the bottom as you can get airlocks in the top of the cooler

ran my oil cooler that way for over a year with no problems at all including normal road use and track work, even shows in the mocal pictures that you can mount it upside down.

Not sure on the evo fmic core though, they arent the best for flow.

Put it this way, i ran it on the car for over a year and the bottom end didnt fall out of it LOL. As long as you have good oil pressure you can run it however you like, once the oil system is primed you dont get airlocks as there is a constant pressure. You prime the engine by cranking it until the oil light goes out with the efi fuse removed so the car doesnt start and you dont wash the bores out.

Im not full of shit just look at my posts and rep (not that it counts for much these days) Pretty sure Nick knows enough about these cars and others to know that mounting the oil cooler upside down isnt a problem.

Oh and just to add, they quite regularly fit them upside down on r5's and alike at K-Tec racing. Its all good.

K-tec racing - nuff said

I'm not saying your full of of shit mate, all I'm saying is you would never mount a charge cooler with pipes faceing down coz of air locks, and you would never have a radiator doing that for the same reason
so why an oil cooler??
Maybe it will work but will it work as effiecent???
