It's not exactly legal, as you putting wider tyres on your wheel. You can change the profile - you can put 185/60/15 or 185/55/15 or 185/50/15.

There's a huge difference between 185/60/15 and 185/50/15 - These tyre sizes have a different of 6.54% or 37mm the maximum recommended difference is 2.5%
The difference between 185/55/15 and 195/50/15 is -1.54% (-9mm) meaning if your speedo reads 60mph you are actually travelling at 59.1

185/55R15 82V 245630 5.0-6.0-6.5 23 7.6 11 15.9
195/50R15 82V 245700 5.5-6.0-7.0 22.7 7.8 10 17

If the alloy width is 5.5 you are good to go.

At least the profile has the same width, I know the speedo will change like with every wheel size change.

you mean the width of tyre is the same.

205/50R15 89V RD would make for a nice tyre if a tad expensive.

As already said, 195/50/15's will be fine on Yaris T-Sport wheels, had them on the Corolla GTi for 25,000 miles without any issues.

Thanks fellas! really happy with that, big help. also saved me some money cause for 185 55 15 is a more expensive size and gives me more tyres to use, getting bored with proxes.
