Valve gasket leak

Apparently apparently am in the situation where are the engine is burning some oil. Some people say it might be the turbo and some people say it might be the valve gaskets. Someone else says it might be the lower piston rings being sticky and letting some oil get in.
The plug sparks are looking good and they are not full of oil. The exhaust though is quite dirty. We have to consider the fact that I don’t have that CAT.
Here is The part that I should order. These have two codes and should be the valve gaskets. I would like to have confirmation that I am ordering the correct part for the EP 91 4efte Glanza V. @Jay

Looks right, you would need 8 of those plus another 8 for the other side (90913-02088) plus all the gaskets between start and finish (depending on if you are having them replaced in place or not).

I would recommend buying a full overhaul set from toyota (part number is 04111-11103) which would give you most of the gaskets you will need for any engine work.

Includes valve stem oils seals, headgasket, turbo gaskets, cam and crank seals, injector seals, and more.

Initial cost will sting but long term it works out cheaper.

does your car smoke constantly...or only at idle........ or only when you start up on mornings (long periods being parked)???

i agree with Jay, the overhaul kit usually works out better in the long run

now, i strongly suggest you use genuine/OEM Toyota parts for these things (headgasket, valve stem seals, cam/crank/rear seals, etc..)...some cheap aftermarket ones don't work well...and depending on what you do, you don't want to be doing it twice and wasting money and time

so I am ordering only the valve gaskets for both sides as he just suggested. I don’t have a budget to buy the complete set and it costs $500 plus shipment from Japan. I suppose I can fix the leak problem replacing the gasket. Do you confirm? Thanks

Thank you. I did buy everything original from Japan. I bought the complete gasket kit for the engine and I don’t remember the part number but it has of the big gaskets and small gaskets but I didn’t check yet if there are gaskets for the valves. it’s the kit you see on the Toyota parts website. 56125C3C-4651-4D41-80C6-0BE6A9DE1EF7.jpeg

based on that picture,,it looks as if it has the 16 valve stem seals you need (8 intake and 8 exhaust)
check the kit you have properly first before you order anything----you may already have them in your possession

can you provide any answers for this ?
""""does your car smoke constantly...or only at idle........ or only when you start up on mornings (long periods being parked)???"""

is the smoke black or bluish/whitish?

The smoke was mostly on idle after a minute or so. It would stop after getting in second gear One night I noticed that it was smoking also when changing gears because I had a car behind me and I could see a little bit of blue smoke.

Checked amayama a month ago and 04111-11104 went for about 180-200 euros including taxes

04111-11104, 04111-11105, 04111-11103
These contain everything for the last gen gt turbo and glanza's, the intake gasket is however one with coolant port, but shouldn't be a problem since it should still fit an intake without port for coolant. This kit is recommended for the last gen gt turbo which uses the intake gasket without coolant port.

It does miss a few things like: throttle body gasket and oil return line. Probably a few more I forgot.

If you bought one of those kits then you will have the seals already. Look for 16 of these:

There's 8 of intake and 8 of exhaust, the intake are usually browner than the darker exhaust ones.

Just mentioning it but a cylinder leakage test (leakdown test) would give you an indication of what is causing the smoke.

Please tell me it’s part of this kit. I hope so. Please tell me also if though distributor gasket is in this kit as well.

at this early stage, i'd check the turbo back housing for any oil residue---the turbo may be leaking out on the exhaust side
can you remove the downpipe section where it joins the turbo housing and take a look?

Agree. I have to check next week. I was waiting until electrics would be 100%.
