The GF's VXHL Astra 1.6 16v LS 5 door 2001
Item Condition:
Well its a 7 years old car so there are a few blemishes but nothing that would put someone off buying it. Few scratches and scrapes which have been touched up. Couple of tiny dents from shopping trolleys, the normal from a 7 year old car.

Where do I start? Bought the car 2.5 years ago from a couple who were immigrating. We purchased it at 85k miles (15k in time we have owned it). GF uses it for dropping our boy to school, going shopping and her P/T job. Its not a done up car, rallied etc, just a typical 5 door hatchback. Also has a load of receipts for work previous owners had done and work we have had carried out. Anything required has been done by garage to keep up the service history.
Stamped book with the following:-

9/5/03 @ 26260miles Oil/Filter/Air filter, fuel filter.
15/12/04 @ 46281miles Oil/Filter/Battery for remote and Brake fluid
7/9/05 @ 64628miles Oil/Filter/Air filter

Timing belt kit replaced 23/3/06 - £130
Water pump replaced 15/5/06 - £90
Diagnostic test done and new EGR valve replaced and reprogrammed ECU 3/11/06 £177
Wiper Linkage replaced 4/11/06 - £25
Centre section exhaust 11/11/07 - £50
Front spring 21/12/07 - £21
As you can see the car is maintained regardless of cost. With me being HGV driver and away dont want a car being unreliable especially since I have a child. Car is serviced yearly by both us and previous owner. There is no finance on car, HPI clear, never crashed. Standard steele wheels with good tyres all round. Interior itself is immaculate, not smoked in, no rips/tears. Boot is big for a small family hatch and also a good space for kids baby/childs seat in back. The V5 is present. If we get a buyer WE WILL send the V5 off for new buyer due to bad previous experience and a receipt stating so will be issued to keep us right. There has only been 2 owners prior which must say something? Its the 1.6 16v LS model with EW, Vxhl CD player, cloth interior, 5 speed box (no crunches, smooth). Its cheap to run & insure. WIth todays petrol prices £42 fills it full and if sensible thatll return you 375/400 miles a tank. Insurance, likewise, is £275 FC for 2 x under 25 drivers. The only reason for sale is weve bought another car so really its surplus to requirements. We wont sell it for peanuts but are looking at selling quickly due to no room, so no REASONABLE offer refused.
