Version on emu?

I can't find the thread anywhere that tells me how I can identify what version of the emu it is. Any help please?

Is the letter that indicates the circuit board version not printed on the corner of the board?

i.e. - a version B board:

its all the versions before D - D and E do not need the extra harness
