Voltage from Coil

Folks,

Im in need of a favour from anyone thats handy with a multimeter.

Im looking for the voltage output from the coil, with the ignition on, at the distributor cap (not running)
AND
The voltage output while cranking, at the cap also

Im trying to figure out weather my coils at fault or i can look elsewhere for my starting fault.

I've no meter at home Rory, so unfortunately I'm unable to help. Have you checked the resistance of both the primary and secondary circuits within the ignition coil?

These few pages are from the MR2 BGB, however for reference purposes with regards to expected resistance readings there's not any real difference between the 3S and 4E components.
