What boost on Hybrid CT9

Morning all,

I'm running a hybrid CT9, if some1 had a flow diagram that would be awesome.

But if not whats the max boost they can hold, Last night i adjusted the actuator to 1.3 bar. But i've a feeling this is the max boost the turbo can run, and the wastegate is never opening.

Anybody else done this? Any1 had any problems.

Obviously the car has supporting mod's, although a bit more info on the Blitz ECU would be nice, as it like's to put a lean spot at 1 point in the rev range in just 2 and 3 gear. I.e. Not as much load.

Obviously i can't tweak the map, but will it "self learn".

1.3 bar is a bit much for a ct9 hybrid imo.

My Garret hybrid is doing 1.2 bar at the moment as 1.3 bar seems to put more strain on the unit.

I don't know what the turbo will flow, and whats its efficiency. I have got an AVCR yet so can't controll the boost accurately enough to notice the difference.

I have found with all boost controllers HKS electronic ones Ive had a few that I can control the boost best with a HKS actuator and a spring tensioned Dawes Device.

I have never had an AVCR though.

From what I have learned and from the information from my turbo supplier 1.2 bar is around its maximum without going out of efficency and anymore boost wouldnt give enough gain to warrant putting the extra stress on the turbo.

Yes that helps a lot as its pretty much what i wanted to know.

I've got an AVCR on my other car.

I am using a HKS actuator. I find electronic boost controllers pretty easy to use. And you can have 2 settings. Also you can have lower boost in 1st gear, can be handy in this car!

you have the same hybrid i ran,and i ran it at lots of different boosts over 1bar....it lasted a few weeks and shat itself...id say yours willtoo(hope it doesnt)

that turbo is nowhere near capable of running 1.3bar reliably,i also used the avcr...
