If funds is an issue i would say plug n play with an afr gauge...that way u dont need to get a remap everytime you add or take away a modification and the plug and play will hold its value if ever decided to sell it

The plug and play idea sounds nice but won't I gain more power with the emange blue ?
How much is a general female on an emange blue ?

You will probably get a higher power figure out of the EMB.
However I beat by mates gt which is on EMB set at 1.1 bar and mine was on plug n play at 1 bar at the time!
BHP figures is just pub talk imo what i look for is nowdays is how it drives on the road and not what it says on a piece of paper!
im sure some will agree and many will not tho but thats just my opinion!

Out of the two the emanage, if you can stretch a little further you can pick up a half decent standalone, like DTA S40 or Haltech sprint. Although you will need a harness made for these ecu's and then a map on top. But driveability wise will be so much better. Plus the future is endless then, I wouldn't really call an EMB future proof especially if you fancy a change in the future.

Mmmm just had a look on how much mapping sessions are :-( think I'm gonna have to go for plug and play ! Is there a thread on here explaining the specs of each one ? Had a look but can't find anything !

Whats your budget?
The amount you spend on a plug and play £450+, you can get am EMB fitted and mapped for £549 at TD.

Three different setups have been run of this ecu standard ct9, hybrid ct9 and a tdo4 with a side exit, it's currently on a hybrid running a 1bar.

Ok we'll I'm running a td04 and want to run at the most 1.2 bar ! Wot was you running with the td04 and how did it perform ?

Yeh you can run 1.2bar on it on stock map sensor but it gives you no leave way for creep or over boost I wouldnt recomend it, I'd say 1.1 bar for that little bit of creep/spike factor, it's been run at 1 bar as a daily and ran great. When it hits boost it does so very hard.
