I still log on myself from time to time, the little starbo will always have a place in my heart but weather i would own another one well i dont know it would have to be as a side project/weekend toy - i drive a vectra dti daily now and im pursuing my bikers licence to. I have recently ran a decent quote for a scooby though so im debating picking a subaru in the new year.

I think if i had another now it would probably be a glanza, can insure the starlets so cheap now compared to back in the day aswell!!!

This thread had me thinking about all I have been through and done with my current GT. Hope you don't mind me sharing a picture history. After I wrote off my MK1 I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Gorganl who had just purchased a Glanza and had his GT up for sale.

So here's July 2005, just purchased from gorganl

September 2006 after some "boy racer" customization

September 2008 when I found out that some blue GT was street racing with my plates so I did two tone

October 2010 after I was rear ended and suffered slight damage. I updated the front to quads.

January 2012

This is how it sits current day, I took great pains to return the interior to completely stock and install power windows...getting old lolol

All in all it has served me well these last 9 years. Hopefully many more yet to come.

Just bought a 95 gt tub myself there. First time starlet.. Great cars love it

95 is a good year, what bits has she got?

electric windows?
remote central locking?
and optional extras?

Look forward to seeing this one about locally.

Still have the ep85 & ep95 turbo's but don't use them at all and lost a lot of interest. I've gone to the dark side and have a s2000 now.

Wow....long time since ive been round these neck of the woods lol. Spotted a GT today and had a brief nostalgic moment :) Then find this thread with all the old skool. House, kids and a fish tank take priority now im afraid :( currently running a stock ep3 though so not totally lost the love lol. Anyone selling a broken gt they want rid of?

I'm sorry but any car that was available in bright bloody yellow with bright red leather seats would not make it onto the deathstar..

Please do not confuse darkness for dimness :haha:

lol i'm still here, had the same one for the last 8 years... Everyone asks why i'm still driving that relic, antique car.

But I also have a project Merc C220 cdi, and normal land rover jeep for the dogs, so its not about getting a "new" car anymore.

*although if i could sell them all, I would like a GT86 :)

Im an old timer from a while ago, the starlet iv got now is my 7th one.
If the pictures were easier to load up i would probably be more inclined to put them up.
I had my first one at 20 and im 30 now lol.......
It was a mint blue mk1 in electric blue, had air con fresh paint, standard everything, even had a roof air condotioner
But me being 20 and wanting to go faster i stripped it and front mounted it cut it abused it u name it.
I can remember pulling from the service station from where we picked it up, my mate was in his clapped out 106 1ltr and we drove 200 miles to get it, put my foot down and had to change gear as i had never felt that acceleration before, and as it whooooshed as i changed to second the biggest smile appeared on my face from ear to ear, turbo baby!!!!!!
Then 2 more mk1's and 4 mk2's later im finally settling down with this white mk2.
Full recaro intrrior with armrest covered too
Parcel shelf with oem surround speakers,
Mk1 touches, glow boot, original gt wheel
Im taking my time with her on this one.
I love love love these little aggressive wonders from Japan
And this one is coming to the grave with me.
I look forward to many meets next year with hopefully alot of you.
