Some may remember i use to religiously post on this forum a few years back, but having recently started browsing again)(now im using my GT again) all i see is chavs posting idiotic things.

although its quite surprising that there are so many td04 setups now lol, i remember being amongst the first all them years ago.

its good too see alot more tunning going on, but it seems the starlet has become so accessable in the UK its losts its wow factor on here. there was a thread a few years back asking "are starlet the next renault 5, rs turbo etc" this now seems to be the case.

im just glad that mine still stands out from the rest of the shitters i see now out and about, in both looks and spec :p

just a little rant

It happens with most cars tbh. That's why the enthusiasts are exactly that enthusiasts. You sit back and laugh. If it wasn't for the price plummet I would never of bought my black shitter and reshelled it into a green shell. Best thing I ever done tbh I love my car and how it looks. Oh and the surprised faces when you destroy top end cars. ;-)

lol there are some of the old timers left and quite a few are making a come back!! I have been around a while around the 10 year mark but only started spending more time back on the forum a couple of years ago. I was one of the first to do the n/a to turbo conversion but every one is at that too now lol thats why I have gone a different direction this time!!

Welcome back any way lol!!!

Most of us just keep quiet I think unless we see something different.

Still got the MX5?

Got my first GT nigh on six years ago. Picked up my new baby Glanza before Christmas and I have to say the passion is still strong! Were still here buddy, just a bit older and a bit quieter :)

Am still here just cant be arsed posting, as every thread turns into a debate/rant about whos right. To many people copy and paste from google etc.

Sounds familiar indeed. But from what I'm experiencing this isn't only the case on this forum. Also on the Dutch Starlet forum we see this happening. Have been lurking around on both forums and still trying to get our own forum up and running again but still not sure about it because of all the chavs starting driving around in Glanza's and GT's in Holland.

But after being away for nearly two years I got driving in my EP again and was enjoying every second of it, so the EP-virus is a bit deeper than I thought and started visiting the forum's more and more. Think all this is happening because we all get older eventually ;)

That just about covers it for me too. I'm here every (other?) day, but nowhere near as active as I used to be. Seems to be the case for a load of the long term members...

you ain't seen me, right?

... problem i have is my car is tucked away at the moment, and i've just not got the time for any forums any more, a quick scan on facebook is about it.

that'll change in future and i'll get more involved again, but for now....

coolio so everyone has evolved into internet ninjas, but i do see alot of familiar usernames there :). i suppose im no different in the fact i dissapeard for about 2years lol,
i still got my mx5, im in the middle of forging it now as i threw the rods out at just under 300bhp lol, tis good to see theres still the lurchers, i do tend to just check for sale sections and new posts but nothing like i used to... my post count is rediculas considering i havent really used this forum for a few years.

this is my 8th year of owning the GT now, been forged 5e for about 4years and im just finalising the latest setup of a td06 20g for some giggles lol
i just tore my 3rd gear apart, so i just fitted a new gearbox and fitting the 20g in a week or so - its got a td05 18g at 25psi at the moment :)
