Yea, Enzo should go to the Police - he's invested time and money into this, his user submitted content has been stolen, and his webspace defaced :/ There is no way it's not criminal... The defacing alone is criminal. Especially when someone involved is offering to buy the site from him. Mental.

Competition is good, and if they didn't like UKSC they should have started a new site from scratch, and won users by providing a better service than UKSC. But stealing the content and rehosting it?..

Even taking a list of email addresses (to contact about the new site) would be questionable, but years worth of posts, threads, user info, attachments etc?..

I can't believe anyone would think it's a legal thing to do :/

Personally I think peeps should look at both sides before making judgements.

As said it would probably never happen here. But that's because tgtt has been run properly.

It's a shame tgtt doesn't do shows anymore.

Im happy and as long as TGGT is here but i will be using all the forums.

two sites now with hopefully two good bits of information from different people.

TGGT was the first place i joined and always loved it here, its just a shame there isnt as many people here as there used to be. numbers wittled down over the years but always good information ! always!

not many meets as many people arent free etc at same time, went to a meet other day and there was 4 starlets/glanzas. was a good meet with the few there but it makes you think whats the point?

TGGT is always the same, never seems to be any agro or falling out, nothing on the lines of the UKSC stuff anyway.

I'm sure they will all get along someday :)

Touching on Malc's point, numbers may well be down and meets fewer but I thinks thats the same accross a lot of forums. Shame there are not that many meets on TGGT though, my Starlets just been insured and should be back on the road before the end of next month.

The choice then will be, what car to go to work in? :)

I'm subscribed on all of them and the Facebook pages but this is the one I visit most. Just wish TGTT had a stand at JAE and other shows

I can see some wrong in what has been done taking members information over to another site, but as far as technical information is concerned, I cant see how anyone can steal that as we have all copied it from another source and posted it on various owners site. There is not much of the very technical information that has been worked out by owners, its either Toyota or another companys information.

Its not just me on my own. Every Member of staff, Every Moderator and Every Trader all wanted too...

We are all sick of the childish abuse we've been getting off Enzo for having a passion in the Starlet scene...and trying to expand and help the club grow, and get told where to go...

Its been coming for over a year and the final straw was a bunch of verbal abuse dished out towards people that have done nothing but help uksc...

As for legally. Im not worried...

Copied accross content that people have posted that they wanted copying accross...
Removed any of Enzo stuff... Alot of the wiki guides and brochure scans etc. have come from staff members!

Havent Sabotaged anything, UKSC still functions perfectly fine....

End of day, me and the rest of the staff want to help the scene grow in the uk and with comments like "if you dont like it then you know where the door is" we did just that in the end...

I use tgtt a fair bit, we all have our personal preferences of what sites to use. I am not making anyone come accross and use the new site. Some members still want to use uksc. Not a problem. But the majority know what was going on and are very pleased its happened...

Hope this has shed some light on it for you guys....

Ill keep my personal opinion of Enzo to one side.

Far as i can make out apart from the obvious it seemed the majority of members/traders/staff wanted this to happen as they felt miss-treated and that they had lost confidence on the site owner... however i am not justifying what has happened or been said tho.

From a legal point it looks like you've nicked all the members details from an old forum, signed them onto a new forum without their permission or consent to the terms and conditions of the board. It's like Halifax saying fuck it, we'll form a mutiny and form a new bank under a new name and nick all the customers details to plonk on their without their agreement.

Dosent bother me, but I can imagine this may have some people miffed.
