FOA: people who might have a clue

my GT been stood in the garage for ages now while iv been rebuilding the bottom end

the car was fine turning over like normal till last monday now before someone mentions it iv changed the battery and no joy so i started pointing at the starter motor took it out yesterday and handed it into osbourne electrics to recon the motor they rang me back saying its it good order tested by themselves aswel

when i turn the key all i hear is 1 click thats all just wont turn over the thick wire going to the starter feels warm after iv had an attempt to start it aswell


anyone got any ideas on what it could be

have you tried removing the plugs and turning the engine over by hand?
just to make sure its not seized due to incorrectly fitted crank bearings that have rotated and jamed(seen things like this happen) or something else mechanical like that.
most probably earths tho as said above.

cant see it being the earth leads iv got plenty of earth leads
1 to gear box
1 to block
1 to inlet mani
1 to chasis
will have another look tho just to be sure

you get me worried when u say seized hope its not

will try turning it over with a strong arm 2moro after taking the plugs out
