dont think its jealousy, tbh like you said anyone would do it, fine on a closed circuit but like the pic above when you start ploughin into other drivers your puttin them at risk, yeah maybe it was the break failure fair enough but what happens next time its driver error and he smashing into someone

I'm sorry, but who cares lol? He owns a cool company, and his cool company has a lot of money and a lot of good cars.

That Evo is sweet, chances are it'll do what every norris designs car seems to do - get annihilated (somehow) whether its driver error to design error :p

Dave

*edit* I also can't see why it wouldn't be his money, unless its been invested in as mentioned... *edit*

Not reaaly, he will have his own accounts, and the company in another.
Remember he has to keep the company going with money he makes, from the buisness.

Yep, accidents happen in racing, not arguing that fact.
But everytime he wipes someone out, he just cant keep throwing money away to sort it.
If he killed someone, that is the end of the world, isnt it.

If they are racing on the track aswell then they should be prepared for the risks involved.

Everyone makes mistakes. Rally drivers do, formula one drivers do e.t.c

Is that not the same think as the people that are in the race with him, except on a none profesional level?

unless there are other investors it sure does..?

why wouldnt it be his money

Well if he's a limited company, which he probably is, then himself and his company are seperate entities. That car is like any other demo car, an advertising tool to show what they can do and that is why they go mental on them, the weak link is the guy who drives it!

A poor workman always blames his tools.

To a certain extent I do agree with you, Simon isnt the best driver in the world he might come across like that, but I doubt he means it.

If you look at the telematory you can see that the brake pedal was applied and there was very little retardation applied to the car. Sure a more experienced driver would have noticed the slight reduction in braking power on the previous corner, but Simon is still a novice and he didnt. Or maybe he did and just get caught up in the moment and pushed on.

Either way, that car is an awsome bit of kit but i still think the RC boys and the Clark family will be the ones to watch next year in TA.

lol wat a stupid arguement you guys make me laugh...

its his company.. which HE owns.. which = his own money.

it may be the "company money" but that means its also HIS and no 1 elses?

and im sure that if he can afford to build a car like this aswell as keep his business running im sure hes got a pot or 2 to piss in.

i never said he was a great driver at all,

but i know that if i had his money and a chance to build/drive a car like that like fuck would i hand it over to someone else.

hes obviously got the qualifications to race in the series anyway so why cry about it? if he crashes he crashes

Evo's more or less drive themselves.

So if you drove the RC Evo on the handeling circuit you would put down more or less the same time as they drive themselves?

You might not like them, but why be so ignorant with your answers?

I'm not a Norris fan boy or anything, don't really care how it performs. I just don't understand peoples mentality sometimes.
