I've just turned 22 and I've been doing architecture since I was 16 (well 15 because I had my 16th birthday a month after I'd started), and I'm an Architectural technologist. My girlfriend (21) is also a Quantity Surveyor, both of which go quite nicely hand in hand.

Yep, sounds familiar. Did 2 years of construction to start with (HNC) in Cambridge CRC - dogshite place that was, just finished my 3 years of Architectural Technology (HND) and I'm just about to continue for another 3 years on Architectural Technology (BSc Hons. Degree) both of which are at Anglia Ruskin in Chelmsford which is a bit of a trek for only once a week. But it's all good. . .
