I did 2 years studying Built Environment National Diploma learning Architecture, estimating, surveying, QSing etc and now travel to Bristol one day week which pain. I drive over 700 miles a week :(

At moment I been paid shed loads of money to play all day long on here and facebook as there nowt for me to do lol. Busy 6 hours a month in total when valuation due. :rockon:

Shame new job be harder oh well :(

all joking aside, sky f*ucked my dad about with his subscription and in fairness they offered him a pretty good deal which he declined. now i want it in my room (still live with parents) but want to take it in my own name. could you be the man i wanna talk to?

Work in super valu, merchandise fo the kerr food group and work in my club's pub! When im not doin all that im in college studying to be a geologist (trying to get some oil action before it all runs out!:p)

What year are you in for your degree? I do the whole day release thing too :)! In my 3rd year of 5 now!

quite a few architects lol but its like 5/6 years at uni is that right??

that was my initial plan durin my later years at school but the studying put me off it, uni in general so i decided to go for an apprenticeship and now fully qualified at 21 and all my mates are still studying lol

same 3rd year of 5 years part time course. First 2 years were boring as hell as I already knew what we were learing as I done it at college. Most people in my course neva did construction course at college but did like business or science so they cover the basics first

Ye I went into my QS degree straight from A levels so knew sweet FA! Unbelieveable how much Ive learnt studying and working at the same time in just over 2 years! I find I know 10 times as much as any full time graduate QS's!

I been in the industry for 5 years working and studying and find I can demand the pay of a project QS (which I do now for my company) as I have a decent background and kick ass CV. Who do you work for?? Im moving from Van Oord a Marine contractor to Balfour Beatty in Hindhead

Army man here.... goin to chad in a few weeks for my overseas trip and cant wait to get back and spend all the extra money...:p:p:p

aerospace engineer - cnc turbine jet blades and fuel veins for all the big companies, rr , pratt and witney, ge, alsthom, they use the turbine jet engines for power generation aaswell now, the company makes blades that are an inch high( god knows what they are 4 - i reckon its the unmanned drones) to 3ft tall, the ones i usually make are worth 7,000 each and i make between 12 -18 on a 12 hour shift so work that out.
