I've got an Evo 4 and going very steady I can get 24 mpg. Average about 19 with mixed driving. I would imagine newer ones to be about the same.
Service every 4.5k. That's engine oil and ayc oil. Gearbox and diff oil every 9k or 12 months.
Parts are stupidly expensive.
All in all expect general...
I would say they don't really get that much attention. The only people that really look are petrol heads. I've had a couple of people ask what mine is as they have never seen one before. To non car people they are just crappy old jap hatchbacks. Lol.
Having said that, before I got mine I was...
Any idea why it doesn't run? Have you had it running and it died or not had it running? Was anything changed before it died?
I would love a white gt so could potentially be interested.
You can make a complaint to vosa about the car passing the MOT. Sounds a bit backwards but it is designed to stop this sort of issue. Might not sort the seller out directly but should give the tester a kick up the ass for passing it.
Don't get a stainless manifold, certainly not a cheap one anyway as they crack. Mild steel is generally better, I think wepr and zisco are both well rated. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
I've never dealt with them personally but have spoke to quite a few people in evo and skyline circles that have advised to steer clear. Generally bad customer service and massively overpriced as far as I'm aware.
I was at cheddar gorge at an evo meet earlier and a silver glanza came past a couple of times, then came back a few minutes later with a white one behind it and parked up for a bit. Anyone on here?
You wont get a socket far enough over by the look of it. It might also be too deep to get at with a chisel but worth a try. Drilling would be the best way. The stud just hits out with a hammer then tap a new one back through.
