Please can anyone help me with info, have oem lsd gear box and short drive shaft, but the sandwich plate is missing. can the gear box be fitted without sandwich plate or will it cause any problems or damage

I am currently running an forged engine on a TD05, but there is loads of lag approx 3500 to 4000 rpm before the turbo kicks in. is there a more suitable turbo that pulls harder than a TD04 but has not got the lag of the TD05 that will fit on the same manifold as the TD05 any advice will be...
