Ok I did the conversion myself. SImple enough. The mechanisms are bolt on, I didn't have to drill any holes or cut anything. The only change I had to make, was to swap the metal bar which screws directly onto the window glass, from the electric motor mechanism, to the manual winding mechanism...

I use 10w 40 in warm climate. Works out really well

I had a starlet Gi off road for the exact same amount of years (4), in a similar region (Caribbean). Gas tank rusted up as well. Had to patch that, change pump/filter, flush oil and change all liquids. Turned over at the first swing of the key tho. Now I'm using a GT.

I use all round 195/60/15 on mine. But 195/50 should be good.

Well I have the two doors. A manual door and an electric door. The manual door is in horrible shape while the electric on is in pristine condition. I want to switch out the parts from the manual to the electric door and convert it. Will take a look at it when I get the time

Nope. All that happens, is the engine won't start. It would try, but won't turn over. Put back in the 30A, and it kicks over fine.

Hey all. New here. Have an EP 82 GT and the EFI Fuse in the engine bay is a 30A, but when I look at the manual it says its supposed to be a 15A. When I put 15A in it the engine does not start. Any Ideas?
