It does not come with the software so it will need to be set up on the rollers or a cheaper option is having a superchip agent come out and program it in.

Ita a genuine superchip product not a resister chip. It does allow you to retard and advance the timing, thats the point of this unit. Also it allows you to run a stand alone or remapped ecu so you can achive max peformance.
