Glanza - light, over responsive turn in, light rear end...

I had teins previously too; again with no issues. The Rs are a lot lower however so throws the rear axle off further. For a cheaper fix than buying an adjustable panhard rod, i followed this tutorial (much cheaper and works exactly the same).

Glanza - light, over responsive turn in, light rear end...

Mine also has similar issues to you, with a similar camber set up but Ive narrowed my issue down to an out of line rear axle (have an adjustable panhard rod but i misadjusted it when I lowered the rear). So double check that your rear axle was adjusted correctly (if at all).

    Toyota levin brakes

Brake disks off 2002- 2.0 D4-D Corolla (25mm thick) I used the disks above and there was no modification etc required. NB there are two sizes (diameter) and the smaller is the direct fitment

Brake rebuild and Back end twitching

No, it's standard at the back except for MeisterRs all round. They're only two months old too so they're still perfect The handbrake cable is slightly seized again after the cold but I don't think it's enough to cause as much skipping as is currently occurring. Will check them when I'm...

Brake rebuild and Back end twitching

Two, hopefully simple questions. First; wondering if anyone knows where I could get a brake rebuild kit for a AE111 (levin twin pots). Checked eBay but didn't find anything. Secondly; the back end of the starlet (glanza) has been stepping out more often of late and wondering if this could...

    VERY interesting brembo set up....

Could always use smaller disks seen as the callipers are a direct fit. Same as is done with the levin twin pot upgrade where the 295mm levin disks aren't used

    Brake Line Problem

Just had my car with the mechanic today and have the same problem. Its due to the mounting point for the brake line on the MeisterR shock; when you're on partial lock and hit a bump the line rubs against the mounting point for the brake line on the car's chassis. Been told it will require...

    twin pod brake help

I had that same thought myself mate; it won't work unless you want to do ALOT of custom fabrication. The ideal position for the levin calipers is flush with the mounting bracket; in other words, the hub will sit under the bracket for the caliper, then you need to make up a bracket to put behind...

    longer wheel stud question

You'll need to get the studs custom made or else buy from ebay. There are TRD extended studs as far as I'm aware too; but they're a fortune from what I remember.

    twin pod brake help

Only problem I have had since fitting WITH the extended studs is the wheel rubbing the arch. Won't be a problem if the shocks are super stiff or the car isn't slammed. Once you use extended studs and torque the nuts there will be no problem with loosening wheel nuts; without extended studs...
