Only problem I have had since fitting WITH the extended studs is the wheel rubbing the arch. Won't be a problem if the shocks are super stiff or the car isn't slammed.
Once you use extended studs and torque the nuts there will be no problem with loosening wheel nuts; without extended studs... Let's just say, learn from my mistake :teach:

I never had a problem with mine. Its an EXCELLENT upgrade. You just can't compare it to the standard setup which is shit to be honest. Can't tell you how many close calls I had and thought "How in the name of God did I just get away with that" because of those brakes but I would recommend braided lines, quality pads and a complete brake fluid change when you do it to get the full benefits from it

I looked at that thread and had a thought...why not put the calliper on the inside of the hub instead of the outside like stock? you could shave a mm on the hub and maybe the caliper and get the 8mm difference there and thatwat you wouldnt have to space out the wheels...

hmm the question i quess is do the discs rub if bolted right on?

I had that same thought myself mate; it won't work unless you want to do ALOT of custom fabrication. The ideal position for the levin calipers is flush with the mounting bracket; in other words, the hub will sit under the bracket for the caliper, then you need to make up a bracket to put behind the hub and caliper to keep the caliper in place and shave a few mil off the hub and caliper bracket to stop the caliper rubbing the inside of your wheels (unless you have 17s).
I planned out every conceivable option before doing the swap; sure with enough time, effort and skill it could be done better though... I just lacked the metal fabrication skill to attempt any other option and trust it

Oh and it won't go on the inside as the bolts will only attach one way; the disks wont fit and you won't be able to tighten the mounting bolts unless you use the stock position or custom make brackets to suit

I have a set of ae111 jdm 2pots sat in my room, but still unsure what discs to use for them? Iv heard you use a bigger disc of the d4d and have it milled down? Can some one comfirm exactly what disc i need and may even a link to a place to get them, rep will be given :)

2001- Corolla D4D, the smaller diameter disks, larger are 295mm if memory serves, but can't remember the size of the smaller one. Only two sizes anyway so can't go far wrong
