First Glanza V - strategy for modifications

a 130 or 160 lph will be more than enough for what you are aiming for. And you probably will be better off with an emanage since you arent aiming for anything big and it still gives you room for tuneability. If you have ever done any kind of wiring, like with sound setups, you could probably...

How much would you say a rebuilt standard ct9 is worth?

Rebuilt is one thing, but rebuilt then properly balanced is another. If its just rebuild with new gaskets and seals, I would say maybe 175-200 but if its balanced properly after rebuild then maybe 250-300.

    Help with tuning

Other way around...should read 0 volts when off and closed and 5 volts when WOT. I believe when you have the key ON though, you should get like 0.5 volts when closed.

    KAAZ Differentials

Its about timing man...you have to try and figure out when people are going to have the money for this...the best time would probably be beginning of the year when people are getting their tax returns back, or end of the year when people decide to buy themselves Christmas presents. I myself...

    4e or 5e

Well what are your goals for the car? The larger displacement will net you a few more ponies, but the 4e has the shorter stroke for quick rpm'ing. If you take a chance on the 5e and it has the thinner rods, you wont be able to push as much boost, but if it has the thicker rods you will have a...

    4e or 5e

Then if you don't want to chance it, just stick with the 4e...I do know that the earlier 95 5efes had thicker rods, cause my 95 tercel had the thicker rods, but that is also usdm too.

What year car did the 5efe come from?

breather filter size for rocker cover? rep added

Putting a breather on isn't really bad, it still lets the pressure in the crank case vent so in essence it still helps...however, with a catch can, you actually "suck" the excess vapors, moisture and gunk buildup out keeping your oil cleaner and longer. It also catches excess oil that is shot...

    car enthusiast? really? prove it!

I got a 90, and I went ahead and answered it for my wife and she would score a 21...LOL

    Turbo seals

Its actually pretty easy to replace all the seals and bearings...but you have to be careful to make sure you get the wheels on exactly like they were, and even then you still will want to get it rebalanced. You have to remember, that thing spins and 80k+ rpm's, and even the slightest...

    size of exhaust tubing?

I wouldn't do anything smaller than 2.5"...you might even consider 3"

    1.5 conversion and road tax!!

Why not get rid of the 5e stamp...grab some kind of JB weld, fill in the stamp, and sand it smooth.

    5E Questions AGAIN

Yes you can keep the inlet manifold. Is it the ACIS manifold? if so, in order for that to function right, you will have to get an rpm switch and vacuum solenoid to make it work properly. The head is the same, but it does have different cams, however you can still use it the same as the 4e. The...

    Attention HYBRID!!!!!

I tried contacting you via PM, but your box is full... First let me introduce myself. My name is Chris, and I live in the US and own a 1995 Toyota Tercel. Recently I just swapped in a 5efhe motor, with a turbo setup, and hooked up ep91 electronics to it so that tuning would be easier. As...

    WTB: ep82 ECU....

Looking for an ep82 Green/Black Label 2 plug ECU. More specifically, there should be a corresponding number on the label that reads 10100...I know that the 10040 is similar as well, but I would prefer the 10100 labeled ECU. PM me or email me at Chris.Fowler@magicaire.com with any offers or...

WTB: 4efte ecu, harness and sensors...

Well just found out the ECU is for a 96 Glanza, which you said you had a loom for that specific year. I know shipping is a little steep, but willing to cover it as long as we arent talkin about a steep price on the loom as well. I am on a pretty strict budget, being a student and all, so let...
