hello all, what is the best way to replace the engine knock sensor? manifold off? under car? alternator out? your experiences please. thanks

Following a lil accident that I had since a month aprox, well hit a curb and damage the wishbone. I have replaced it and the ARB. But now, after 2 weeks driving I can hear the wheel knocking, and its geting worse everytime I drive. And on top I have the feeling that the steering is a bit lighter...
