Your tyres must be crap then.
Mine grips in 3rd and pulls like a train, i only dont get traction unless i have shit tyres or its in the wet.
he is saying on the RR
Im a tit. :haha:
no its not thesame to run car on 3rd and 4th gear but then on 3rd gear the reading would be more than in 4th gear as it is a lower gear and its stronger.I was talking about this with the guy that has the rolling road im going to next wednesday and he told me you have to run it in 4th a 3rd would give a false reading.
The torque (and therefore power) calculated by the rollers is from the rpm of the rollers and the torque applied to them, therefore the gear you run in doesnt really matter as long as you dont get wheelspin, which for some reason it gives an inflated power figure
no, wheel spin gives you a lower reading.
spuddy was running 1.4ish bar for ages pal made 258hp i maped it abit rich toocool stuff hope it holds up for a while may set a new standard and ppl may start puttin more boost threw there engines

"The BIG problem with all this is if any tyre slip is taking place. Remember these are smooth steel rollers which over time get quite polished. How much grip do you think you would get if roads were made of polished steel rather than tarmac? The effects of tyre slip are complex (i.e. I don't pretend to fully understand them myself!) but what I do know is that you can get some really strange bhp figures from highly tuned engines on narrow tyres and the readings are invariably too high not too low."
