For sale: 1988 Ford Escort RS Turbo

Ford escort RS turbo in the best colour - Diamond white. Has had a respray a few years back when it had a partial restoration. Took me ages to find a genuine non rotten example. Engine is standard and all i have ever done is service it.

Had a new cambelt and water pump about 500 miles ago. I dont use it that often and only did about 1500 miles last year. Engine runs fine, is quiet, no smoking and starts no trouble. Car is in very good condition and is worth a look by anybody wanting a genuine tidy rs.

Only mods the car has had is the immobiliser, alarm, 40mm lowering springs, alloy radiator inc intercooler, samco hoses (have all the original hoses still) and a dump valve. It's running standard boost etc. At the start of the year it had new brakes, new lower wishbones, 4 new tyres and a track rod end. All electrical items work eg windows etc.

The car went straight through is last MOT with no problems or advisorys and has around 10 months MOT left.

It's a real good example of an unmolested RS Turbo and deserves a good home.

it makes me so angry how great the escorts in other countrys are comparative to the states. escorts over here are just pos's pretty much with the exception of the gt's are ok...this is my old gt





but I hope the sale goes well...if I had money id buy it lol..that would be sick...

not bad, reminds me of my old 1988 E-REg RS turbo i used to have about 5 years ago, funny thing is that i was just talking about it to a couple of friend, about 15 minutes ago.... hah ... funny init, never thought of it ever before... dont really want to remember, as its one of those you dont really want to remember, you ever owned. if you know what i mean... spend to much money on it, and never ever got it right...

But please dont get me wrong, your car looks mint, its nice to see some nice old school motors, as they were the DADDYS!!!

Free bumpage, I have a major soft spot for these. If I was ever to leave the JDM scene it would be for an old RS Escort, or a RS Sierra Cosworth, they are just sex, they look as mean as they go.
