Right I want to keep my MK1 as original as possibe, not interested in chasing big power anymore so all I want to acheive is to make BOV as loud as possible and increase the boost maybe to .9 or 1BAR, but I do want it to be nippy, but can I do it with these mods, stainless steel exhaust, fuel pump, filter, stock ported and polished head, adjustable HKS actuator and HKS FCD. I haven't the money to upgrade the intercooler and I really don't want to cut the front bumper AT ALL, and also I still want to keep the aircon.....I know what you're all thinking, WHY. Will a stock TMIC handle 1BAR of boost safely and is there much difference with .9 and a BAR ?

how will you be driving the car? there wont be a massive difference between 0.9 and 1 bar.

Mind you might want to do something about the manifold. Port the standard one even

Think he might be talking about the map sensor. On the bulk head mounted on drivers side. 3wires 1 vac line?!?

Hi, be gentle just got my first ep91 today. I know my car has fcd, fmic, exhaust and various other bits but is running 1 bar on standard mani. I don't intend to thrash it but could this still cause issues eventually if Mani is not ported or replaced. And any obvious signs of damage to look out for? Cheers

no obvious signs really. you only normally notice when you remove the manifold and notice the head is cracked.

I wudn't some one was selling ARC here - look in to it or at least RX7 - and you don't have to cut the bumper and get rid of the AC if you put a small FMIC off the ebay - and that would be A LOT better than any top mount, especially in the summer and at 1 bar!
