The z is a beast of a car mate, very fast, mine is modified now and handles superb. Want to supercharge it soon hopefully. Reliable 400bhp on stock internals. Lots of fun and very capable. RWD is great too. Cheers mate

We haven't raced but ive been in green one and that is faster now definitely. It has alot more power with a much bigger turbo run much higher boost. 5K at this car will give it over 500bhp easily. It's a 2.0liter remember so potential will always be higher. 320bhp is a basic stock set up.

Buy a clean GT for a grand with tax and mot then get an engine and box for another grand that leaves three to get it in and running dont know about a million years seems quite doable to me not a major task from and engineering perspective he wants the buyer to spend even more just to get this running.. Fair enough it wont be to that spec but would'nt be far off it either but dont be kidding yourself.
Advertise this for 5k sterling as a non runner in Ireland and you will be laughed at.

i think people are underestimating the work involved here its not just fabricating the mounts up, theres all the custom intercooler pipework getting it all wired up, ect. ask that guy who got an na celica engine put in his gt how much his bill was!!

I've wrote a gauging interest breaking thread that hasnt been put up yet. I hope it's not that I didn't put pictures up as I'm only gauging interest on parts then I will put pics up if there is enough interest and I decide to go ahead and break.
I'm not going to entertain people that think it isn't worth it. Up to them, I'd rather they kept it to themselves but I can't exactly punch them in the mouth, I'm behind a screen. Meh

Im glad that most understand... So thanks for some of the comments guys.. Ive been in this game long enough, i know it may be difficult to sell a starlet that currently doesn't run but this sales thread is for a potentially sale. It is worth it, just to certain people that would like a cool project. If it doesnt sell i'll break. But there is no harm in putting it up for sale first so i really cant understand some of the comments.
Some just love to argue and be negative!
Ad! yeah man long time no hear! I have a members car thread in the garage section of the 350Z but hasnt been updated at all.. Its got new wheels now and a good few mods done to it.
Dan, Ive only put it up for sale last 2 days and only really on here.. A friend was very interested but hasnt got that money at the moment otherwise he'd have it i just cant really wait. I think im gona start breaking it very soon if the interest thread goes through and see if most parts have interest then i'll break it. However upsetting that is, has to be done, cant just leave it sitting on my drive un-used.

To be honest i dont care lol.. If people dont want it and think its worth it im not here to convince them. Im gona break it i think anyway as said, most starlet owners buy these cars normally on a semi kind of budget with the odd exception.. Unfortunately most that are on the market for a starlet are not looking at spending big bucks.. Even though for £6500 you'd have this up and running pissing on pretty much any car but some wont look at it like that. And you would have something exclusive.. But its worth what someone will pay at the end of the day.
