406 v6 coupe

hi guys,

anyone got any infomation on the 406 v6 coupe's?

now my gf has got some money sorted she has got her heart set on one. admittidly i think they do look nice, and look very good lowered with some alloys, not a common site either.

any way, anyone know any common problems, things to look out for?

Have heard its a engine out job for the clutch!
But apart from tht surprisingly there quite reliable, most are used as rep mobiles so mostly motorway miles!
Interiors nice too!

Pick them up cheap these days!
She want a v6? has bremboooooooos standard!

yeah, she wants a v6.

at college her saxo got nicked, then she got it back and it got rear ended. insurance took ages to pay out and payed fuck all.

then she was tight for money and had an old 309.

now she's got a really good job, has paid her parents back etc so wants to treat her self.
she's got a corsa d 1.4 as a company car, but having the modding bug she wants something thats 'hers' as well.

and being that its not going to be a daily driver, may as well be the v6. lol

i had the coupe as a daily driver , it was the 2 litre , but my experience with it is as follows ,
after around 2000km the fuel gauge needle started playing up and died ,
later on the gearbox acted weird at times ,
and the finale was an accident , where the abs refused to work , locked up the brakes , at 70 mph , bang , airbags failed to work . i sold it lol !
