If you know so much about the 4E-FTE and you are convienced that this is then motor you need in order to have power and reliability then the answer to your problem is very easy...

Say goodbye to your 5GT and get a 4E-FTE powered Glanza or GT. Upgrade the supsensionas well and you'll have both the handling and the power

1.8 16v head + 2.2 bottom end = fun times

Or dont some people use the 1.7 volvo turbo engine? I've heard these are reliable.

Fair enough if you want to go toyota though

Just buy a GT or a Glanza!

Why waste your money making a French hatch faster, when you can buy the real deal!

I would upgrade fella but thats what Modifying is all about being bespoke and unique imagine a 5efte in an R5 1.6 bar of boost and pop goes the welds lol:p:p:p:p.

I loved my 5 but t just had to go in the end :(:(:(.

Best of luck what ever you decide to do

nothing wrong with knowing alot about a particular engine/wiring set-up
i want to drive a car that is rare and starlets sure as hell arent ,anyways been there done that had loads of starlets.

Already have handling and the power with its current setup.

just not reliability due to design issues of the 8valve block thats why im transplanting
