hey guys next question are the 4efte shim gaps the same as the 4efe ones as ive had my head re shimmed and pretty sure he shimmed it to the 4efe spec? need to know this asap as my cams seem to be getting damaged on the edges?

the whole 4efe head is the same as 4efte mate, sounds like its got shims in it from another engine and are incorrect. if you have a set of feelers you could check the valve clearances and reshim if necessary

basically the guy who did all my skimming re shimmed it to the 4efe spec in his book. just checking thigs because its not running right atall. but noticed the edges of the cams had chips in them?

god knows lol il keep an eye on it
