4efte swap

I have a 1996 Glanza, a couple of weeks after I got it it started to knock, found out it was a 4efe not a 4efte, so I got a second hand motor with 80,000ks, have had it installed by professionals with new cambelt and new sparkplugs, and its running very roughly, it idles all good but when you drive it it has a miss and wont go past 3500rpm except for a small section in 4th when it gained revs steadily but still with misses.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as Ive sunk a fair amount of cash into this. The mods on it are a front mount intercooler, custom turbo manifold with a series 9 WRX turbo, 3 inch straight through, tial wastegate and HKS bov

Could be a number of things. Leads, dizzy, rotor arm, boost leak, sensor failure, timing. Or more serious like piston damage. What's the compression like?

Did you do any fueling mods when you put the td04 on it?

Also how did you not notice it wasn't turbo when you bought it? :confused:
