Hello guys and girls,

I drive a 1996 Toyota Tercel with a swapped EP-91 4efte motor. I love to drive it...way better than the stock 5e-fe...TONS more fun!! i have done a little upgrading on it...I know a tercel is not/should not be on this site...but since im basically running a starlet with a tercel body...i thought i would join up so i can source parts and such...even tho shipping might kill me HAHA..

but any way...here are some pictures of my car! Enjoy!

@vincent-ep91: Yea this is about as custom as it gets LOL...had a custom harness made...ep91 ecu...i dont have the hi/lo boost solenoid like the starlets have...so im just running high boost all the time...

im going to be upgrading to the TD12 soon..and run 14-16 psi daily...and 18-20 psi on fun day :)

im getting alot of head/block work done soon...so she will only be getting better from here!

Welcome along mate, we love to see EP engines transplanted into any other cars to be honest so I cant see you being banished for one going into another Toyota. I have never seen that intake mani on a 4EFTE engine, can I ask you what you did for an air intake temp sensor?

Also if you would like to start a build thread in the members garage it would let everyone see what you have done. You can go back and edit it or add more to it as your car evolves and its a good reference for you to look back on as well. Here is the link mate, just click on submit members car and post away. Enjoy the site!

MantaEP91: Thanks!! I love the wheels, even tho it took me a little bit to get used to them at first since they poke out a little bit. There isnt much of a difference in the low end with the intake headers....but it has a little more umph at the top end...and its even air flow to all 4 cylinders...equal length runners!!

weeJohn: The intake headers come off the 4efes, direct replacement for the EP91s. I believe the EP82s have a water jacket hole that would need to be plugged. For the air temp sensor, if you look at the Final Produt pic...in between the BOV vacuum line and the throttle cable bracket...you can see the IAT sensor. I drilled a hole and threaded it. Put some thread tape on the IAT sensor and carefully tightened it down so i dont strip the threads. and that was that :D

I will definately check out the garage and try to add mine in there...im getting ready to rebuild the whole motor from top down and put some power adders on!!! LOL

Please open a members garage slot and transfer you build photos into that. The welcome section is a good place for introductions and a few pics but not for upgrades and rebuilds.
