5E Rev limit

Can someone please tell me the rev limits of the 5E series, i.e. 5E-FHE and FE.

Also if you know the rpm of any other E- or A- series engine - be my guest :)

rev limit of the 5efe engine/ecu combo is indeed 5600
but 5efhe engine/ecu is 7200

But my 5e conversion revs till 7500:confused: very strange

5600 rpm for 5efe
7200 rpm for 5efhe

now for some reason the ep82 has a rev limit of 7200 rpm.........but owners of the ep91 have observed a rev limit of 7500/7600 rpm on the OEM ecu---such as myself
.
maybe the tacho could be way out..u never know......but most (ep82 and ep91) tachos are out by about 300rpm anyways

glanzas rev up to 7800
gt's 7200-7500 depending on year.

5E's shouldnt rev above 7300-7500 because of very high piston speed...

thia is true.......due to the characteristics of the 5e engine (longer rods)

however,,,,MJA, the same way u forge your 4efte to handle more revs and boost.....the same can be done with the 5e

besides....7500 rpm is pretty useful for a lot of turbo applications.....since many tend to drop power after a cretain rpm (let's say 6000/7000rpms) anyway:)

Yep, mine got higest hp at 5986 rpm, so no need to taker it further than 6500rpm
