5psi jump to 13psi

Would like to find out what would cause a ct9 with 2.5 intercooler piping and 2.5 downpiping, to jump for 5psi to 13psi in 3rd when go throttle

Have you checked your actuator? Might be time to go for an after market acuator to hold the boost just the bit better.

As i had the same mods as your setup and mine started to do the same thing.

Maybe even an external wastegate, if your looking to do even more mods in the future. Thats what i decided to do.

its not that he needs a new actuator to hold the boost better (cos its holding the boost alright upto 13psi ) it seems that his actuator diaphram is worn out or broken and is leaking so its not opening the wastegate when it should so boost is going up, try an hks one and also check that you have no leaks in the pipe going to the actuator
