6 speed corolla g6 box

My gt has the g6 box from the corolla. i think i have the reciept for it and it was £300 if i remember right. i havent drove a 5 speed starlet before but i love the 6 speed box ive never had one before. took a little bit of getting used to at first. very nice gearbox nice and smooth and seems to handle the power fine.

does anyone know where to get one?

nope 6speed cant hit 60mph in 2e gear

I have a G6 gearbox from a corolla from 1997, this was the only year that G6's were diliverd with a 4E-FE engine so mine was a direct fit!
I must say handels the power very wel (175bhp, 220NM torque), very fast acceleration, so wil have too shift a lot

U could use a G6R gearbox but you wil have too change the bellhousing and thats not a pretty job too do from what i have heard.....

Here in Holland i can get 6 speed gearboxes but that would be very very expensive too ship so isnt worth the hassle i reckon

wouldnt shipping be a lot cheaper if the bellhousing is removed and internals are shipped?

reckon it wont mate, and why would u wanna do that i can get straight fit G6 boxes here at least if they show op now and then......
