A couple of "speedo videos of the GT

Thought id post a couple of videos to show how the car kind of performs, grips/accelerates etc as i get asked alot of questions of how is it, does it spin too much, how fast is it etc etc.. I'll hopefully soon get a video out on track, i'll be sure to post that up.

Traction on a decent warm day is actually really good considering the power on small street tires.

This was GPS verified. Top speed is exactly 150mph no where near enough for such power as you can see but for now thats what it is.. When i fit 16's with the same profile i should get around 10MPH more up top... The car could really do with a 200MPH final drive in all honesty but hay, they only make that for the Turbo box so this may be an option in the future.

This wasnt done on public road.

Adam haha, exactly you can never have enough power mate! I wouldnt mind another 50BHP in all honesty but on this gearing i dont really see the point + i need more traction through 3rd in most places... Ideally id like 16's and revving to 8K that would give me a nice amount of gear extra but apparently according to Adrian its not advised on the stock head even though ive heard else where its fine im gona trust him as he has years over most in the 3SGTE.

Yeah I know what you mean mate, hopefully them bigger wheels and tyres will help a lot, would be great to rev it to 8k and get a wider powerband as thats where fwd cars perform best. Give Tim@Tb developments a PM mate, he's a specialist in the 3S world , i'm sure he'll be able to sort you out ;)

yeah exactly mate... Its all about the wide powerband on the high powered FWD cars which this car does but the gearing is too short for how much power it has... Could really do with more gear, feels almost like a rally car how quickly i rip through gears lol..

Well Simon and ADrian know there stuff massively on the 3SGTE and have already been advised what i can and cant do to be honest.. Simon has been in the 3S world for 25 years and Adrian has been mapping them for over 10 years and has had many high powered 3S including his current Celica which is for sale and that made over 800BHP reliably...

Cant go wrong with the Fensport guys when it come to 3S engines.
They've probably got the most experience of tuning those engines in the country.
Saw Adrians Celica when I bought my Starlet from them. It wasnt 800bhp back then though. Lol.

Exactly mate.. They all know their stuff big time.

Yeah his celica makes 750 but with some NOS over 800.. Quarter in the 9's and won various time attacks etc.. Absolute weapon but they are onto a new project ;)

I hoped you used ''1000bhp once in a lifetime, super duper billet steel axels cabable of 1000bhp?''

Quote from the 3STGTE Starlet dude what ever his name is :)
