A mix of motors....

Glad you got back alright craig, time did you get home then in the end?

Got back in 3 and 1/2 hours mate so wasn't too bad... some some unusual sites on the M6 home... A lorry being dragged out of a field by a crane and a car that had flipped over a fence... Not sure how people manage to go off the road like that on a Motorway...

Im currently in the process of trying to make the fastest auto starlet, so far we have decat and full exhaust, induction, apexi avcr and a few other little bits. Soon to be fitted is the walbro pump, fcd and rrfpr, then its dyno time. After that who knows! if anyone is at santa pod this weekend for thunderball i will be around, its black with gunmetal wheels and polished lip!

think you will need a few more mods than that tho as yby's auto had full td04 set up. i have aftermarket fuel pump at home for when its needed but im deffo not sticking an fcd on my car, gettin piggyback ecu for my baby :)
have you messed with the auto box itself then? as i believe its necessary to install a hi stall torque convertor if you wanna have a good 1/4mile time. Those 60fts in the autos are dreadful and is what will let you down on the strip.

Jamesgtturbo -- i dont know whats happening, but it was suppose stay standard :p i have mani, downpipe, external wastegate, emanage and then some mapping all being done/arriving in the next week or two just excited to see what she goes like. But like said above there might be a point where cross the line and have to modify the box which is what worrys me.
And also scared of the box going but theres too many inconsistancy's i remember yby saying his box went around the 200bhp mark but also heard the kick down was messed with and the oil lines which cool the box etc etc. if it goes then i guess a manual conversion will be done.

Once all the basics are done, im then undecided what to do next, tdo4, hybrid, k26 etc. Plus if the box goes i will sling a manual box in it and have done with it lol. Go the auto's!

awsome selection of motors ther!! all ya need is a rwd car to complete! obviously the evo 9 an gt 4 are amazin cars, but on the starlet front, have to say big respect to ben for keepin that GT in tip top shape, good to see dude! Have to say i like kelly's for being a different colour and lookin damn fine, there i 1 GT in that colour over here in N.I. and is very very rare seeing one that colour and that mint!!

keep up the damn good work guys, i would love a massive meet with you guys, N.I. cars and mainland cars, JAE is the best opportunity. I have gone the past 2 years, and hopin a load of us go over again this year, since its on an island with a beach, and if so, i will stop gettin soo drunk and not callin over to the stand lol.

nice selection of cars there.
love the gt4:rockon:
i see you own a GT4 as well, cool stuff, got any pictures of it? the GT4 just recieved new sard 800cc Injectors and a 16row custom oil cooler, so now providing plenty of fuel so i can get onto mapping, planning to run 1.3bar on stock turbo and see what power it will create at the rolling road day at dyno demon, it made 332bhp at 1.1bar (from what i remember) back when it was running stock charge cooler and stock ecu.
