a painting question! please help!

well i want to bring a nice black colour back to my bumpers, what do i do?? have been told back to black is rubbish, so was thinking of attacking it with satin black paint from good old halfrauds. what else do i need? do i need to rub them down (if so what with) for the paint to stick?

Get a scouring pad and give the plastic a really really good clean with that. Couple of coats of plastic primer, black and lacquer n bobs your uncle

Smooth peanut butter or vegitable oil. Works a treat, Peanut butter works the best just don't get the chunky version. No need to paint at all

cheers! the whole painting thing sounds alot of hard work.... i think i may use the veg idea
