acl bearings question

hey guys.

changing my mains and big end bearings just to keep things sweet. ordered what i thought were duraglide off a local company and got big ends in duraglide and mains in aluglide(inferior type)

has anyone had experience of aluglide?

guy says duraglide arent available.

duraglide where replaced by aluglide for the main ends as they found them to be a better composition having higher aluminium to silicone content ratio...

weve been using aluglide on the mains for years on end with no problem to report... (this is on 11 and 10 sec drag ep's)

Nothing wrong with that.
Any bearing can be used actually and hold the same power as the next.
If the clearances are as they should be then there will never be metal to metal contact.
It is called hydrofilm :)
But, the more expensive bearings will hold up better when things happen that should not happen like dirt in the oil etc.
