Adjusting SSQV?

I've one of the early spec SSQVs ya know the one with the adjustable nut on the back? Anyway I was wondering (out of boredom really) which way do you twist the nut to make it more ''chirpy''..do ya tighten it or loosen it?

After trying that and it sounds the same no matter how tight or loose the nut is!!..Damn HKS lieing to us!! lol

it's not to adjust the noise, it's for idle adjustment (to keep it closed)

Think you can get different 'inserts' for the SSQV to change the noise....!?!

yep, purple, gold and silver. i think purple is the loudest.

standard silver one sounds the same as the purple one IMO
