Advan Wheels - Genuine?! Help Needed Quick

Hey folks,

A mate of mine has a brand new set of 'advan' wheels for sale.

they are 16'', bronze in colour, 6 spoke, look similar to advan rg's / buddyclub p1's.

now is there anyway of telling if they are genuine??

he cant see any advan stamp on it so i dont know, i havent seen the wheel yet, only thru a picture message on my phone.

if they are genuine they will be real light, i'll go and have a look at mine after dinner here and see if there are any distinguishing marks or stickers on the back of them.

i know on my te37's, there is 'rays' stamped into the inner side of the wheel!

they could well be advan rg's but just need to know if they are genuine,

yeh they should be very light, i had a set here but there gone now so can't check, i can't remember if there were any markings

the wheel is bronze and from the picture message i have, it looks to have Advan Racing across one of the spokes.

Be carefull with those john there's a lad sellin fake advans somewhere in meath I think
sounds like the ones your describing are rg2s the same as he's sellin
they have advan on the spoke but not stamped anywhere else afaik
also on an advan rg the writin is in the paint it's not a sticker you'll be able to tell wen your up close to them
