So im sort of looking ideas on what to do on some of the bad bits I was thinking of going standard with the seats and door cards all round.
I dont know where I could put the boost controller but would like to get a few optional extras for the centre like cup holders and a multibox
Maybe get a mat set and arm rest.

So any input and advice on how to tidy a few things up would be good and maybe photos would help

Cheers

I would get the whole interior washed with shampoo etc, looks mega dirty in the pics. The door cards are nuts, mad hairy things :) You could get some stock door card, Jay might have some, or you can get them retrimmed with any fabric, ebay sells stuff in rolls etc like Bride.

See if someone has a sideskirt handy to replace that one, best option.

New clock from scrappy?

Aye, looks like she's been modified somewhat over the years. Doesn't really do the car justice.

If it were me I'd strip the full interior, rip out the carpet and clean it from the floor up first. That'll take the dust and stuff out of her to begin with. Then it's a case of getting an interior in decent condition to replace the current one. In an ideal world you could fit the optional Recaro interior but they are getting harder to find in good nick so a clean Mk2/Mk3 interior would be your best bet. Even if you keep the Evo seats it'll tidy up the rest of the interior.

I'll be out fitting a stereo later so I'll grab a few pics to give you an idea.

Oh and retain the speakers for originality points - those are optional Toyota units. Someone ticked a box on the order sheet!

Bit dark outside to get decent pics of the other cars so here's my daily GT that's been equipped to my tastes :

In an ideal world the Recaro interior would have been standard but I think the stock interiors hold their own with regards comfort. You should sit in as many GT's as you can before you make up your mind!

Cheers lads great help as always, thanks rob didnt know that. Jay Yours looks well inside, the recaros I have are comfy but just feel they take up to much room and that a stock interior would give the car back some of the original features. The stock seats are comfy too I thought the last time I tried them. Was keeping the speakers anyway just need them degreased and maybe wired in lol.
Keep it coming lads
Cheers

Return to standard would be a good idea, especially the GI bonnet you will be needing someone to take that off your hands id guess?

lol

Good luck with it all, if you wanna see/have a seat in a stock mk2 interior feel free to drop round next time your at jays joint.
