air filter relocation advice needed

im planning to relocate my air filter in this spot:

i chose this spot because i dont want to remove my aircon.

what materials will be neede to relocate the air filter on that spot.
and im also running a standard ct9

rep for those who can help

hmmm doesnt look like there is much room there for an air filter! But you can try, you will need some custom piping or some samco hoses..

The main problem will be getting past the power steering pipe i'd say.

Id say you would struggle to fit it there mate. An old friend ov mine tried to locate his filter to the exact spot that you have choosen, and was a tight fit! Think he ended up bending half his air filter when he closed the bonnet lol.

But yes you will need some custom piping, and some hoses, clamps etc. Very easy to do!

Opps yes i forgot to mention. My mate also had to remove his power steering. As to fit a pipe through there he would have had to have a smaller intake pipe resulting in lesser air intake!

i forgot to mention. i have a hks mushroom filter. i thnk it will fit in there but i dont know the exact pipes needed.

and btw, whats the size of the inlet of the turbo?

Depends what type of turbo you got mate?

But make the pipe atleast 2'5 to allow good air flow.
