Alarms?

hey guys a like most people i need to get a decent alarm for my glanza and have been rooting around the net trying to find the right one for me. i was told that a clifford avantguard 5.5 would be best but do u guys think its a bit steep at £600?
is there any others that provide the same sort of system for a little less?
or a better system that anyone knows of?

i have a laserline cat1 alarm imobilser on mine. its 100% reliable, been on the car for 5 or 6 years and still works perfectly. nothing flashy but has remote locking

just looking again through the net lol and i think im gona get the Viper 480XV its cheaper than the cliffordm, its thatcher cat 1 approved and has basically the same system lol bargain at £300 odd quid!

i got a falcon evo4+ which was fitted by the top ice installer in the uk and he swears by them.

I called up elephant as i was going to get Clifford G5 installed as it has built in turbo timer and they said my insurance would not change!!

I had to have a Cat1 installed before they would even consider me for insurance
